What do Cheveux treatments feel like?
It depends on what mode of operation Dr. Waldman or Dr. Schantz chooses for the treatment session. If the exclusive "Smooth Flow" mode is chosen, patients will feel a gentle heating sensation moving over the skin that will cause a thermal reconditioning shut-down of the unwanted hair growth. Patients have reported the "Smooth Flow" mode feeling like a hot stone massage. If a slower, higher energy pulse mode is chosen, the patient may feel a slight stinging sensation similar to a rubber band snap on the skin. Can any area of the body be treated?

After the treatment, how will I need to take care of my skin?
An SPF 30 sunscreen will need to be applied to protect the treated area from any skin discolorization and it is highly recommended that you do not pluck, pull or wax hairs you see in the treated area, as this will initiate a regrowth phase in the hair follicle.
